Terms and Conditions
of Rest Easy Pet
Request for Euthanasia
The veterinarian will make a decision as to whether euthanasia is in the best interest of the pet and can refuse service for any reason and at any time. A consent form will be signed stating the owner or Authorised Agent of the animal, the animal presenting for euthanasia, and the authorisation for euthanasia.
Payments
Accepted payments methods are credit card, direct debit, direct transfer, eftpos or cash. Payments can be made prior to or at the appointment. A deposit of $245 is required prior to the appointment for booking confirmation.

Cremation Company
Rest Easy Pet is currenlty partnered with Rainbow Bay Pet Cremations who are a local, family owned pet crematorium in the South West of WA.
Rearrangement and Cancellations
We understand that this decision is not straightforward and rearrangements may need to occur. We try to be as flexible as possible while maintaining availability of veterinarians for pets in need.
Please understand that cancellations or rearrangements >72 hours out incur no fee. If within this time, a deposit of $245 will be non-refundable (even if a booking is rescheduled, rearrangement unable to be accommodated, or cancelled after rearrangement eg. due to the passing of a pet while postponing euthanasia service).
In the event that a pet passes away on their own accord before the initial booking, a full refund will be issued, unless not immediately informed and the vet has attended unnecessarily. If this occurs and you wish to proceed with a cremation aftercare option, only the aftercare fee and travel fee (if applicable) applies. If a booking is postponed and the pet passes away during this time, any fees charged are non-refundable.

Should the vet attend and you decide not to proceed with euthanasia, then the deposit applies to cover the home visit consultation fee. If you wish for a quality of life consult to occur instead, a travel fee (if applicable) will also apply.
Availiability
Rest Easy Pet currently operates 7 days a week with general business hours between 8am - 6pm weekdays and 10am- 4pm weekends. Due to Dr. Francesca being the sole veterinarian providing this service, availability may occasionally be limited. Your request will be responded to within 48 hours and more immediate requests should be directed to your local veterinary clinic.

The service may contain or reference links to websites or services operated by third parties. These are recommended by us for your convenience. Third parties are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content or service.
Social Media
Rest Easy Pet uses Facebook and Instagram. You will be asked for voluntary consent before using images, videos or other content on social media platforms. Consent may be verbal or in written communication. ​
Variation to service
Some very unwell animals can have changes in blood pressure and vein accessibility where alternate injection methods, including intracardiac, intrarenal or intrahepatic, may be necessary. These will always be discussed with you should they be deemed necessary by the veterinarian.
